I’m the Wisconsin state coordinator for the Rusty Blackbird Spring Migration Blitz! I’m happy to entertain any questions related to this last year of the spring initiative in the upper Midwest. Today, I headed to check out an Area of Interest, namely Danielson Rd. (Jefferson Co.). I was not disappointed! I found a large flock of approximately 60 rusty blackbirds in the flooded forest along the road. Are there any areas of interest near you where you might find “rusties?”
