I invested in a larger hopper feeder, but for now, it’s still hanging from a Shepherd’s hook.
I think my larger feathered friends sometimes have trouble with it! Yet, they seem to love my red pepper suet, so much so that I caught them digging up a cache in the lawn. Concurrently, I noticed one picking up nest material! Did the presence of a food source encourage them to nest nearby?
