Pacific Loon Watch Season

The 2nd week of April kicks off the spring season to watch the lakes and river for Pacific loons! These “rare-regulars” have been spotted in Wisconsin through the 1st week of June, and are found at least annually. The only summer record is near the Minnesota border in Superior, WI. While definitely a rare waterbird for the state, they are found with regularity, so worth keeping an eye out for while scoping.
